Northern Vision Development is seeking a mature and dynamic General Manager to oversee Hotel Carmacks and Tatchun Center operations, including the grocery store, gas station, and RV park. As an operations pro, you will optimize financial performance and inventory management, drive sales with engaging marketing strategies, ensure compliance, inspire and develop your team, and uphold NVD's values within the community.
You are highly attuned to guest/customer experience, you bring creative ideas to the table, and take accountability for your performance (and that of your team). Your success as the General Manager is measured by achieving consistent results across operational, regulatory, human resource, and financial domains.
Required Experience and Competencies
- Considerable operational planning and management experience (retail or grocery is an asset)
- Leadership experience to source, retain, and manage teams effectively
- Communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive internal/external relationships
- Capacity to navigate complex situations through independent problem solving and decision making
- Financial acumen including budget management and reporting
- Organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to professionalism and integrity
Compensation
- Salary range: $110,000-$120,000 per annum
