Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Hire, supervise, train, and support the front desk team, while fostering a positive work environment.
- Guest Services: Ensure exceptional customer service, and handle guest concerns promptly.
- Check-In/Check-Out Process: Oversee efficient processes, train staff on reservations and payments, and monitor room turnover.
- Front Desk Operations: Maintain an organized front desk area, ensure policy compliance, and manage reservation systems.
- Financial Management: Handle transactions, balance cash drawers, and monitor/control front desk expenses.
- Communication: Foster effective team and interdepartmental communication, and relay important information promptly.
- Security and Safety: Enforce measures to safeguard guest information and property, and address safety concerns promptly.
- Reports and Record-Keeping: Generate and analyze reports on performance and satisfaction and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Completion of a post-secondary program (degree or diploma) in hospitality or hotel management
- 3 years' experience supervising a guest services team in a hotel setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Professionalism
- Ability to develop, engage and lead individuals and teams
- Adaptable to employee/guest needs and situations as they arise
- Problem solving and judgement
- Financial acumen

Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts in a continuous operation
- 40 hours per week
Salary: $47,840 per annum
