Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading baggage on and off the aircraft
- Operating and positioning all airside equipment,
- Performing basic baggage check,
- Marshalling the aircraft in and out of the ramp safely and efficiently,
- Understanding and communicating pit loading counts
- Procedures with flight crews and ground support
- Servicing aircraft lavatories and water
Qualifications/Conditions of Employment:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Transport Canada Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP)
- Grade 12 High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be physical fit (able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, climb, and lift up to 70 pounds repetitively)
- Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada
