The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting project managers and technical leads with planning field studies
- Completing fieldwork related to wildlife and their habitat
- Data entry, quality control, summary analysis, and interpretation
- Writing field reports and assisting technical leads with preparing technical reports and other deliverables
- Participating proactively in EDI’s health and safety program
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience completing field work productively and safely
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment
- Self motivation and problem solving and decision-making abilities
Requirements:
- An undergrad degree or Master’s Degree with 2-3 years of experience in a related discipline
- Experience in terrestrial and wildlife biology – consulting experience preferred
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a R.P. Bio or as P. Biol. considered an asset
