JOB DESCRIPTION
You love the outdoors. You can provide quality customer service at all times, with a prompt, courteous welcome and solid professional advice.
Duties include: assisting with merchandising, receiving, light housekeeping and most of all providing service and support to customers. This position requires experience with computer transactions and store opening and closing operations. It is 35-40 hours per week.
Applicants must be available Saturdays and must be in Canada. We require a minimum of 6 months experience in a hunting and fishing retail environment.
PROFILE
- Strong sales ability
- Knowledge of hunting and fishing
- Ability to handle cash and to operate our point-of-sale system
- Merchandising and display skills a definite asset
- Good listening skills
- Ability to professionally and safely demonstrate product to customers
- Able to work without supervision
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Physical work: standing for long periods, moving merchandise from warehouse to store
- Variable work schedule (usually Tuesday to Saturday but hours may vary during promotions and for hunting season)
- Moving display cases, stacking and displaying merchandise
