Yukon Honda is looking for a journey man automotive service technician with the customers best interest at heart and a good attention to detail who is willing to complete the required Honda factory training so we can best service our customers.
Requirements for this position are as follows but not limited too.
-Service vehicles in a timely manner for routine scheduled maintenance in accordance with dealer and manufacturer recommendations.
-Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair
-Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
-Inspect vehicles and identify/repair safety related concerns
-Install accessories onto new & customer vehicles
-Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness
-Maintain a clean work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
-Complete the required Honda training and maintain the level required by Honda Canada
-Communicate with the service advisors on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work on vehicles.
-Work as part of a team & be able to help guide apprentice
-Class 5 drivers license
-Must have own tools
-Wage depended on experience
