Seeking applicants for open Labourer positions with a Heavy Civil Construction company based in Whitehorse.

Qualifications and Experience
-Class 5 drivers license
-Experience working in construction
-Able to work 10-12 hours per day, 7 days a week
-Physically able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and use basic hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms.
-Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, compaction equipment and power tools is an asset
Duties and Tasks
-Provide support for various civil construction projects including underground water/sewer/power installation, large site grading projects, and surface works including concrete, asphalt and landscaping.
-Operation of skid steer loaders and compaction equipment.
-Driving pickup trucks with trailers, loading and unloading material and equipment.
-Completion of job hazard assessments, pre trip inspections, and working safely in a team environment.
Training provided where needed for specific tasks.
First Aid Training, Confined Space, WHMIS, TDG training are significant assets for applicants.
Compensation will be based on experience.
