The Yukon First Nation Education Directorate (YFNED) Nutrition Department is seeking energetic, creative, and dedicated individuals to support our school-based food service program in Whitehorse.
Operating out of a school or centralized kitchen, Cooks and Cooks Helpers are responsible for preparing and delivering hot, nutritious meals and snacks to Indigenous children and youth. These roles are essential to fostering wellness and supporting student success through healthy, culturally grounded food.
If you have a passion for cooking and providing nutritious meals to children and youth, work well in a team environment, and have an interest in traditional and local foods, we’d love to hear from you!
Please note: These positions require an early morning start between 6:30 AM and 7:30 AM, with occasional weekend work.
