Custodian

SIMA’s mission statement is: To provide exceptional, safe, downhill experiences to Yukoners, and work in partnership to contribute to the good life in the Yukon.
Position Status: Part-Time
The position will include the following functions, but is not limited to:

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuums floors.
• Gathers and empties trash.
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies bathroom facilities.
• Dusts furniture, walls, and equipment.
• Cleans windows, mirrors, and partitions with soap and other cleansers
• Manages inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Basic, general building maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, touching up paint, etc.
• Notifies managers regarding the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

Requirements:

• Similar experience preferred but not required.
• Building maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to lift upwards of 50lbs.
• Able to safely use a ladder.

Wage will be dependent on experience. Hours will vary but generally 2-3 hours per operational day, more depending on our Events Schedule.
