Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational programs. This role requires effective communication skills, a strong understanding of early childhood education principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various domains including cognitive, social, emotional, and physical.

Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.

Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships and support each child's individual needs.

Assess children's progress through observation and documentation, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's development.

Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support children with special education needs.

Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress reports, and attendance.

Utilize computer operation skills for administrative tasks such as lesson planning, communication with families, and maintaining student records.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

Experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.

Proficiency in computer operation for administrative tasks related to teaching.

Ability to educate young children using creative teaching methods tailored to their developmental stages.

Bilingual abilities (English/French) are a plus to enhance communication with diverse families.

Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial for supporting all learners in the classroom.

Strong writing skills for documentation of children's progress and communication with parents.
