Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Childcare Support to care for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months during our fitness classes. The primary goal is to engage, comfort, and supervise these little ones in a gym setting, allowing mothers to participate in workouts with peace of mind, knowing their children are nearby and well-cared for.
About Us: UnSeen Strength is a community-focused group fitness program dedicated to supporting mothers in rebuilding their strength postpartum. Our mission is to provide mothers with the time and space to reconnect with their bodies through movement. We offer flexible class schedules, on-site childcare during each session, and adaptive programming to meet mothers wherever they are in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to infants and toddlers during fitness classes.
- Engage children with age-appropriate activities to keep them content and occupied.
- Maintain a clean and safe play area by sanitizing toys, chairs, floors, and mats after each class.
- Communicate effectively with mothers to address any immediate needs or concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience in caring for infants and toddlers, either professionally or personally.
- Willingness to obtain a vulnerable sector check.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a nurturing demeanor.
