Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of the Family Preservation Wellness Centre, the Culinary Support Worker plays a vital role in preparing nutritious meals and culinary support to residents while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment within the Centre’s open kitchen setting. This position involves preparing meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, teaching basic cooking skills and offering compassionate support to individuals and families experiencing violence, homelessness, substance use, and mental health challenges.
Screening Criteria: High school education or equivalent, with relevant post-secondary training and/or equivalency obtained through course work and/or work experience. Previous experience working as a cook or preparing meals in a fast paced kitchen environment.
Salary: Level 7: $68,991.00 - $86,248.50
