Selkirk Development Corporation is seeking a qualified individual to join our small and highly collaborative team in the role of Finance Clerk. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Clerk provides support for the day-to-day accounting operations, functions, records and transactions relating to SDC and its affiliates.
- Completion of Secondary School
- At least one year experience working in finance or accounting field, or prior academic courses in this field;
- at least one year's prior experience working in an office or business environment;
- Strong computer literacy skills and ability to learn new software programs;
- Desire to learn new tasks and skills;
- Experience working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including engaged listening;
- Experience working as a collaborative team member, pitching in where and when required.
