We are looking for applicants who enjoy working in a student-centered environment and being part of a dynamic team.Reporting to the Chair, School of Academic and Skill Development, this position will be responsible for planning, organizing and conducting lessons in adult basic education in the subject areas of Math and Science in the University Access Pathways program (UAP). Duties will include assigning and reviewing students’ work and maintaining accurate records. The position will be focused on instructing Math, Chemistry, and Physics high-school equivalency courses. Additional areas of expertise in biology, statistics, science research, lab work, computers or computer science would be considered an asset.The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in related discipline (i.e., Education, Math, Science) and extensive experience teaching in an adult-learning environment.
