Mechanical Maintenance Assistant

Kilrich Building Centres is looking for a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Assistant to join our team. If you have experience in mechanical repairs and maintenance, enjoy troubleshooting, and thrive in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in perform routine maintenance and repair on various equipment, including forklifts, trailers, delivery vehicles and plant equipment.
  • Assist in keeping accurate and up-to-date maintenance records for all equipment and facilities.
  • Actively support a safe and efficient work environment by following company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with building maintenance and grounds upkeep, including cleaning, leveling, and security.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to do basic mechanical maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to work with team members.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
