Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of furniture or appliances required
- Advise customers on the use and care of merchandise, including specialized products and services
- Estimate and quote prices, warranties, and delivery dates
- Prepare merchandise for purchase
- Assist with merchandise displays
- Maintain sales records for inventory control
- Operate computerized inventory and re-ordering systems
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience
- High school certificate or equivalent required
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Accurate, flexible, and a strong team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, and some lifting
- Must be currently located in the Yukon to apply
- Permanent Full-time position, 35–40 hours per week.
