Aurora Wellness Group (AWG) is a community-rooted mental health practice providing accessible, trauma-informed, and culturally safe counselling services across Yukon. We work closely with individuals, families, First Nations governments, and community organizations to reduce barriers to care and strengthen community wellness.
We are seeking a full-time Office Manager to support clinic operations, deliver excellent customer service, assist the executive team, and act as a key liaison with community partners. This is a central leadership role within our organization.
About the Role
The Office Manager oversees the day-to-day functioning of the clinic and supports administrative staff, clinicians, leadership, and external partners. This role blends operations management, people leadership, executive support, and relationship-based coordination, and is well-suited to someone who is organized, calm, and values working in a people-centred environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations and administrative systems
- Supervise and support administrative staff, including scheduling and onboarding
- Ensure excellent, welcoming, and low-barrier customer service for clients
- Support intake processes and respond to client inquiries and concerns with care
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Executive and Clinical Leadership team
- Assist with scheduling, documentation, reporting, and internal communications
- Serve as a liaison with community organizations and First Nations governments
- Support coordination of community-based programs, contracts, and partnerships
- Assist with invoicing, payments, and funding-related workflows
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role
Qualifications
- Experience in office management, administration, or operations
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
- Experience supporting senior leadership or executive teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience supervising or supporting staff
- Comfort working with digital systems and administrative software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Calm, grounded presence in a fast-paced and emotionally sensitive setting
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or community-based work is an asset
Position Details & Compensation
- Status: Full-time
- Location: Whitehorse, Yukon
- Compensation: $35 per hour(approximately $68,000 annually, based on full-time hours), with opportunities for growth over time
