Recycling Collector – Whitehorse Blue Bin Recycling (WBBR)
Permanent Position | 30–40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $23.00/hour (increase after probation, with scheduled raises over time)
Whitehorse Blue Bin Recycling (WBBR) is seeking a reliable and hardworking Recycling Collector to join our team. This role involves residential and commercial recycling pickup.
Key Responsibilities

• Collect recycling from residential and commercial clients.

• Load and unload materials from the transport vehicle.

• Work independently and with fellow employees while maintaining strong communication with management and clients.

• Filling out all the necessary paperwork has required.

• Represent WBBR professionally in the community.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.

• Comfortable driving a cube van.

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Able to work in all weather conditions, including cold weather.

• Enjoys physical, outdoor work in all seasons.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Punctual, dependable, and professional with clients.

• Must be able to work in a Team with other staff or contractors.

• Able to work safely, following proper lifting techniques, traffic safety rules, and company safety procedures at all times.

• Good knowledge of Whitehorse geography is an asset.

• Valid Work Permit Required.
