The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator and Automation Support to join our team immediately on part time basis with up to 25 hrs per week. This position is responsible for a systems review with recommendations followed with installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our organization's IT infrastructure, including cloud spaces, networks, and systems. You will work to ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our hardware and software systems, providing reliable support for our internal teams and helping the business run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
•Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and related software (e.g., Windows, macOS).
•Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services.
•Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
•Ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place to safeguard critical business data.
•Implement and monitor security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.
•Perform regular system updates, patches, and vulnerability assessments.
•Collaborate with other departments to support software deployment, system configurations, and other technical needs.
•Respond to and resolve technical support tickets from end users in a timely manner.
•Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal reference.
•Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in system administration.
•Assist with software integrations and website API connections
•Assist with recommending and implementing automations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role in IT.
•Strong knowledge of operating systems and network protocols.
•Experience with cloud platforms.
•Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
•Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
