Water Truck Driver Duties
- Fill water truck at water source
- Drive truck to drill site and pump water into water tank
- Remove any accumulating ice from water truck
- Ensure water trucks is driven in a safe manner
- Report on mechanical issues immediately
- Some mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repair purposes
- Ensure there is always water available for the drill. The number of trips required in any 12-hour shift (day shift and night shift) will depend on distance from water source to project, size of water tank, number of drills in operation.
Certification Requirements
- Valid Class 3 Driver's license, at least 3 years of driving experience, with a clean driving record.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- WHMIS certificate.
Experience and Skills
- 1 year experience driving a water truck
- Able to work in remote camps.
- Zero tolerance on drugs and alcohol; must be able to pass random drug and alcohol tests.
- Honest and reliable with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.

- From $32 to $35/hr plus overtime. Final rate wage based on experience.
